Picnic Areas
Symbio Wildlife Park is set on 16 acres of picturesque gardens and natural bushland, offering a variety of beautiful green spaces where you can enjoy a relaxing picnic with your friends and family.

Choose from our open lawn areas or enjoy your meal under one of our three covered picnic areas, each equipped with fixed tables and chairs. You can locate these areas by referring to our park map and facilities guide.

While there are no barbecue facilities on-site, guests are welcome to bring small portable gas barbecues (maximum 9kg gas bottle) to use during their picnic. Please note that one of our covered areas—the Picnic Shelter—is available for group hire at an additional cost, and may be reserved for the day.

Visitors are welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic drinks. Please note that alcohol is not permitted on Zoo grounds unless part of a catered event.

Kiosk
Our kiosk is open daily, offering a delicious range of hot and cold café and takeaway-style foods. Some of the tasty items available include wraps, Turkish rolls, burgers, fresh salads, sandwiches, hot pastries, hot chips, hot dogs, ice creams, soft drinks, and sweets.

Splash Park
The Splash Park is open year-round, making it the perfect spot for kids to cool off under the dump buckets, water squirters, fountains, and other fun water features. Completely safe and all-inclusive, this space allows visitors of all ages to enjoy some wet and wild fun!

Playground
Nestled amongst the trees in the South-West corner of Symbio, our brand new dry playground is the perfect spot for kids to burn off some energy. Featuring two flying foxes, numerous swings, climbing walls, a fortress, slides, and in-ground trampolines, it's a fun-filled space where children can play while parents relax nearby.

Disabled Access
Symbio provides designated disabled parking spaces near the park entrance to ensure easy and convenient access.

Accessibility at Symbio is enhanced by:

  • A wide entry gate
  • A gently sloping property layout
  • Paved pathways throughout the majority of the park
  • A newly built, all-accessible amenities block
  • New enclosures designed with accessibility in mind

Please Note: Some pathways around the park are gravel, so we recommend that visitors requiring a wheelchair be accompanied by an able-bodied adult. This ensures the pathways and grassed areas of the Kangaroo Walk-Through do not affect their experience. You can find these areas on the park map and facilities guide.

Gift Shop
After experiencing everything Symbio has to offer, why not stop by our gift shop? With a wide range of items, including toys, backpacks, books, clothing, and a variety of Symbio and Australian souvenirs, you're sure to find the perfect memento to remember your visit.

You can also upgrade your day’s entry ticket to become a Season Pass Member at exit and we will take your entry price off the cost of the Season Pass. This will give you 12 months of unlimited visits to Symbio to experience the fun over, and over, and over again.
