- Option 3: 10x assorted sandwiched and a bowl of hot chips (including sauces)

We do our best to accommodate dietary requirements but cannot be held responsible for non-disclosure. For specific food allergies, please inform us in advance.

Where possible, we will provide suitable substitutions. If an appropriate alternative is unavailable, we may need to remove our catering component to ensure safety.

Our food is prepared in a kitchen that handles gluten, dairy, and other allergens. While we take precautions, cross-contamination may occur.

Valid season pass membership holders booking a zoo party may enjoy the following benefits:

Yes! We provide the option to add an ice cream cake and candles to your package, however, you are more than welcome to bring your own cake.

Please note that we, unfortunately, do not currently have the facilities to refrigerate your cake for you.

Additional catered items can be added, or you are welcome to bring your own food. However, self-catered items must be accompanied by your own serving ware and platters.

Please note that we do not have facilities to refrigerate or heat self-catered food.

You will be required to bring your own serving platters for self-catered food.

Yes, you can! We provide complimentary decorations, including sustainable fabric bunting featuring Aussie animal prints. You’re also welcome to bring your own decorations, especially for themed parties.

Weighted or tied decorations (to tables, poles, or rafters) are preferred. Please avoid sticky tape, as it can damage our timber tables. Pins, nails, screws, and confetti are not permitted for safety reasons.

To support our sustainability efforts, we discourage balloons but allow them for private functions.

Balloons must be secured to a weight or fixed in the party area and cannot be carried around the park. Loose balloons are not permitted due to environmental and animal safety concerns.

All balloons used for zoo parties are to be fixed to a balloon weight or secured within the party area (i.e to a pole or roof rafter) and are not to be walked around the wildlife park.

Non-fixed balloons are not permitted due to the risk of air pollution or ingestion of any plastics by our animals.

Additional zoo party guests receive a discounted admission price;

• Additional Child (Koala Package): $35 per child (includes admission, catering, and a bag of animal food).
• Additional Child (Joey’s Edition & Dingo Pack): 20% off general admission.
• Additional Adult: 20% off general admission.
• Children under 3: FREE admission.
• Valid Season Pass Holders: FREE admission (must be valid on the event date).

Only pre-paid guests on the Zoo Party Guest List will have access to the park and party. Additional parents/guardians must pay admission upon arrival.

If adults are not attending the party, please arrange a drop-off and pick-up time at the park entrance and be present for a safe handover. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

We are very excited to be upgrading our admissions area, with a planned opening for Summer 2022 (pending delays due to wet weather). The new admissions facilities will include an admissions line for bookings – including zoo party guests.

Until this time, zoo party guests will be required to line up in the general admissions area.

We advise that your guests should arrive early to avoid delays during peak trade periods.

Zoo party guests are also welcome to utilise the ‘season pass’ line if / when this is available.

A reminder you and your guests have access to everything our park has to offer all day from 9.30 am – 5 pm.

Our party packages typically accommodate up to 60 guests. The area provides seating for 50-60 guests, with additional space for standing guests.

Surrounded by outdoor grass areas and located next to our adventure playground, there is plenty of room for guests to enjoy.

For parties exceeding 60 guests, please contact our Guest Services team before booking, as our Farmyard sheltered area may be a better fit.

Our Zoo Parties are held in the undercover picnic area located directly next to the Adventure playground – the perfect location for kids!

This is an undercover, outdoor venue, within convenient proximity to our admissions area.

In the event of inclement weather, or for larger groups of 50+, events may be more suited to our Farmyard Picnic Shelter location pending availability.

This is also an undercover, outdoor venue – larger in space.

Please note that the complimentary decorations provided for our zoo parties will need to be altered for the farmyard location.

At Symbio, we are open rain, hail, or shine! While we welcome visitors in all weather, we understand heavy rain or strong winds may impact events.

Our zoo party area is outdoors and sheltered. Light rain or wind should have minimal impact on your celebration.

For heavy or persistent rain/wind, we may offer our Farmyard sheltered area (subject to availability), though it is not a fully weatherproof solution.

If extreme weather is expected, we recommend monitoring the forecast and reaching out with any concerns. Please also review our cancellation policy in advance.

We understand that plans can change! For this reason, cancellations are transferable, allowing you to either reschedule your party for a new date or convert the payment into a credit. This credit can be used towards season passes, behind-the-scenes encounters, junior keeper camp experiences, or other offerings.

To ensure smooth operations, our party hosts are rostered at least 14 days in advance, and catering supplies are ordered at least seven days before the event. Late cancellations impact staff scheduling, contribute to food wastage, and limit the opportunity to rebook the space. Therefore, we appreciate as much notice as possible for any changes.

Cancellations made within 48 hours or less of the booking will incur a 20% cancellation fee, which will be deducted from the total credit amount. All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email to guestservices@symbiozoo.com.au.

Cancellations made at least seven days before the booking may be eligible for a refund, provided that a minimum of seven full days' written notice is given.

For cancellations with less than seven days' notice, the payment amount will be transferable. You may either reschedule your party for a new date or convert the payment into a credit, which can be used for season passes, behind-the-scenes encounters, junior keeper camp experiences, or other offerings.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking will incur a 20% cancellation fee, which will be deducted from the total credit amount.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to Guestservices@symbiozoo.com.au. Phone cancellations will not be accepted.

Phone cancellations are not accepted – written confirmation is required.

Your zoo party includes a 15-minute private reptile experience and unlimited access to our adventure playground, splash park, and incredible wildlife.

If you’d like to add extra entertainment, you’re welcome to hire pre-approved performers such as face painters or themed characters (e.g., Spiderman, Elsa, fairies), who must remain within the party area and conduct activities that do not pose risks to guests, animals, or property.

For animal welfare, balloon artists, external animals, fire performances, or loud noise-based entertainment are not permitted.

Admission fees apply for entertainers. Please contact Guest Services at Guestservices@symbiozoo.com.au before booking to discuss approved options and logistics.

We provide handmade fabric bunting, tablecloths, and table runners to eliminate disposable decorations like plastic tablecloths, balloons, and banners. For catered parties, we also use compostable plates, cups, spoons, and napkins.

Here are some simple ways to make your party even more eco-friendly:

• Encourage guests to bring reusable drink bottles to reduce waste.
• Choose sustainable gifts that will last and grow with your child.
• Opt for wrapper-free lollies or chocolates in party bags.
• Swap individually wrapped treats for seed packets or kids’ crafts.
• Use recyclable kraft bags for party favors—kids can decorate them!
• Reuse decorations—take them home or pass them on.
• Choose eco bubbles instead of confetti.
• For self-catered parties, bring compostable plates and cutlery.
• Wrap presents sustainably using recyclable paper or decorated packaging.
• Reuse gift bags from previous celebrations.
• Bring Tupperware for leftovers instead of disposable containers.
• Use a reusable bag to transport presents home.
